sunday am

sunday morning

all the protest

can momentarily rest

as we lie around in jammies

drink in all what is and not

the tea steeped and

hot

up from the downtrodden

the blood got up in a good way

to see Moscow pummeled with snowballs

citizens out for Navalny

coming home. will we always be fighting

for answers? the blood

got up in a good way. up

from the down

trodden

patches

the government sent the
not so secret police

even the iron on patches
would not iron
on. you broke out
super glue

the same you used
to affix the stick to
your flag

your rough
locks in fighting
formation

got your attitude
always

painted another layer
of enamel on your
claws

texted your friends
to meet under the
oak tree

don't forget
knit hats the
masks the baking
soda

un.feeling

if you had a heart you cried if
you had a heart you shouted out
against the unspeakable
horror if you

if you had a heart it broke and maybe
you could not control yourself
for a while

grieving these systemic patterns
you could not bear to remain

orderly
calm
respectable
peaceful

out on the streets
where a drop became many
a stream became a river
an ocean of

feeling
against the unfeeling

dredging up a particle of hope
there to see where
we were not
alone

martial arts mixed with supermodel moon

Good morning world, today it will be partly hysterical with scattered tear gas and a good chance of healing the narcissistic wound, by appearances, anti-Trump and replete with overenforcement of law, and disorder. the wild-eyed tatted up boy from Dublin will enter the Octagon in the square, Madison Garden, while a New Yorker agent of real estate assets makes moves on the Oval, the Office, bearing fruits of the violence of free speech, talking of violence and violence of talking, while the political correct find themselves bundled and floating, sucked slowly into space, drawn to the supermodel moon. the lights of civil rights are mostly white wandering place to place, eye for eye, martial arts mixed and in danger of falling from grace.
