earth and sun

in a liminal place

like us

friday afternoon in the Chinese restaurant

steam rising off these bowls

tanks bubbling with black bass

and dungeness

shifting effortlessly 

from work to

play

the realm

in the films
the screenplays
in the drawings
the realm
of extant suffering
intensity of
euphoria

terrible lie

as the sky
scrapes by
the moon
wide eye
sees through
your terrible
lie
