thunderstorm
starscape collapses into landscape
we take cover inside hoods and waxed overcoats
microburst
washed out. blown. illuminated by pixels
thugging it out
solstice
earth and sun
in a liminal place
like us
friday afternoon in the Chinese restaurant
steam rising off these bowls
tanks bubbling with black bass
and dungeness
shifting effortlessly
from work to
play
